This vintage tribal rug is an intricate and exotic rug from the Zemmour region and tribe. 

Moroccans have an innate sense of design and color. These carpets have symbols that mean something to them and keep their houses safe from imagined harm. My house is uplifted and protected with several Zammour carpets. They were my first love. It brings a sense of joy and nomadic wild inside. It inspires everything I do from cooking to writing.  With the right music, I do not hesitate to dance on top of them remembering the feeling of freedom while riding camels down the beach in Sidi Kaouki.
