Repost from Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School, August 3, 2016
“Visiting Case Vecchie for the first time in 1998 was like coming home. The approach through the green rolling countryside left a deep impression, as some places in the world will do. Rural beauty softens the heart. There was a noticeable feeling of falling into a familiar place, yet knowingly seeing it for the first time.” — Peggy Markel of Peggy Markel’s Culinary Adventures
Peggy’s love for Sicily came to form nearly 20 years ago and since that time, she’s given over to her addiction of all things Sicilian and has been a frequent visitor to the school. Because of the special place it holds in her heart and the good she believes that comes from truly understanding the process of food through the lens of culture, tradition, and place, she is generously offering to purchase a round-trip flight for one student interested in attending Cook the Farm in 2017.
If you’d like to take Peggy up on her offer to pay for your flight to and from Sicily, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you should be selected.
